Demolition

Demolition in Komotini and Rhodope

Demolition requires a plan, experience and respect for the surroundings. We demolish old buildings and auxiliary structures so your site is ready for the next step.

What we demolish

  • Old houses and abandoned buildings.
  • Storage buildings, barns and auxiliary structures.
  • Boundary walls, retaining walls and smaller structures.
  • Parts of structures, where the project design calls for it.

Preparation before demolition

Before any demolition, the owner, together with the project engineer, checks the required permits and approvals and arranges for utilities (electricity, water, etc.) to be disconnected.

On our side, we examine the structure, the access, the distance from neighbouring buildings and roads, and plan the sequence of work so that it is controlled and safe.

After the demolition

The job does not end when the structure comes down. We discuss from the start how the materials will be gathered and removed, and whether the site will then need earthworks or excavation for a new build.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a permit for demolition?

Requirements depend on the structure and the case. Your project engineer or the competent authority can tell you what applies to your case before we start.

Do you also clear the site afterwards?

Gathering materials and clearing the site are discussed at the start and included in our proposal, depending on your needs.

Can you demolish next to another building?

In many cases yes, with proper planning and careful execution. This is always assessed after a site visit.
