Excavation

Excavation in Komotini and Rhodope

Proper excavation is the basis of a safe, well-built project. With excavators of different sizes we take on excavation work on building plots, farmland and construction sites, from tight urban spaces to open land.

Excavation work we take on

  • Foundation excavation for houses and other buildings.
  • Basement excavation, according to the project design.
  • Trenches for utility lines, drainage and piping.
  • Excavation for tanks, manholes and auxiliary structures.
  • Excavation on agricultural land and around buildings.

The right excavator for your site

Not every excavation needs the same machine. In confined spaces, next to existing buildings or inside yards, a smaller excavator moves safely and precisely. For larger volumes, a bigger excavator gets the job done faster.

We choose the equipment based on access, depth, soil type and what surrounds the work area.

Precision and safety

Before excavating, the boundaries, levels and the position of any underground utilities need to be known. We work with the owner and the project engineer so that the excavation follows the drawings and is carried out safely for the site and neighbouring properties.

Excavated soil can stay on site for backfilling or be removed by truck, depending on the needs of the project.

How we proceed

  1. 01

    Drawings & limits

We review the drawings, boundaries and levels.

  2. 02

    Site check

We check access, soil and possible underground utilities.

  3. 03

    Machine choice

We propose the excavator that fits the site.

  4. 04

    Excavation

We excavate and organise the spoil.

Frequently asked questions

Can you excavate on a narrow plot or in a yard?

Yes, in many cases with a smaller excavator. To answer with certainty we need to know the width of the access and what surrounds the area.

What happens to the excavated soil?

Depending on the project, it can stay on site for backfilling or be transported by truck. We discuss this at the start so it is included in the quote.

Who sets the depth and limits of the excavation?

Limits and levels come from the project drawings and the engineer’s instructions. We carry out the excavation accordingly.
